The rise and scope of sports tourism in UAE

Tourism is an inextricable part of the Emirates. UAE is very much dependent on tourism and foreign money. It is estimated that over 16.7 3 million tourists visited Dubai in the year 2019 and almost 30.8 2 billion dollars was spent by international visitors of Dubai in the year 2018. Dubai is a city that brings the most tourist dollars worldwide. There are many attractions in both Bur Dubai and Deira and there which makes UAE a tourist spot. Emirates is considered as the shopping capital of the Middle East and during the Dubai shopping festival held during January, the whole of Dubai Emirates may seem like a shopping mall.

But what about the sports sector? Emirates to not have a club or team playing for UAE but you serve as a platform for international games like Cricket World Cup, Asia Cup Cricket, 2013 FIFA World Cup, and so on. Recently IPL was also held in Dubai as considering it as the safest city with less covid cases. Even if they are not in the mainstream participating factor of sports they provide all facilities for SAT international games. All kinds of sports like football, cricket, basketball, badminton & tennis are being played there. All kinds of sports are welcome there because of the diversity of foreigners. Apart from these adventure sports are also in trend.  Emirates has a great future for sports because of this very reason that Emirates is full of people from all over the world that can contribute for the sports sector.
